Mindful Employers

I'm glad to see 'Mindful Employers' being given a plug on the develop website. We registered a few months ago and it was very straightforward. It also prompted us to review our practice in supporting employees with mental health needs.
I know the scheme is targeting bigger business, but feel it's really important that organisations working in mental health help set an example. Local authorities and health trusts, for example???

Glad to see you using the discussion boards and congratulations on becoming a Mindful Employer - it would be worth doing a short presentation at WorkNET to tell the story of your involvement and to encourage others, I am told Oxleas is going for this too!

Do send us in tyour postings about the work that Mind is doing on social inclsuion and we can use the mindful employer logo next to your.
