Welcome to the Develop Research and Development pages. Over the coming months these pages will begin to list details of a new Develop initiative called imaginatively R&DNET!

R&DNET is a partnership group looking at developing new roles for people with a history of using mental health services as social researchers. Through training and volunteer to work placements people with lived experience of mental health services will be offered the opportunity to sign up for internships as social researchers for Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, Bromley Mind and Community Options in the first instance. Training in research methods will be provided by our new partners at Salomons in Tunbridge Wells. Time limited projects will be conducted by small teams of researchers with a qualified researcher as their guide and team leader. We aim to be influenced as much by the research teams as we hope to influence their employability. Our hope is to support people into employment with highly transferable skills as a result of their work with us and enhance our capacity to critically monitor and develop service quality as a result.
