Disability Snowsport Bromley is a voluntary organisation based in Bromley and is affiliated to the national charity DSUK, providing skiing opportunities for people with disabilities at the Bromley Ski Centre in Sandy Lane, St Paul’s Cray, BR5 3HY.
DSUK is a people-centred organisation with a unique sense of purpose: that anyone regardless of their disability can take part in and enjoy the thrill of snowsport.
For nearly 30 years they have applied exceptional know-how and adaptability to enable those with a disability to experience the joy of skiing.
They provide exciting and life enhancing activities for individuals or groups who require adaptive equipment and/or special instruction and support.

Football team for people with current mental health problems.
Mainstream coaching and leisure facilities provided by Bromley MyTime are used along with extra support from an understanding and welcoming coach with experience of mental health difficulties.
Any current service users are welcome. Service users or their care co-ordinators should get in touch with the contacts on the flyer below in advance to book places.

This particular meeting is small and very friendly, the leader Toni Fancourt has welcomed and supported Oxleas service users with mental health problems for a number of years. She is open and understanding of many of the problems that exist for this particular client group.
Margaret May, O.T. assistant currently working at Carlton Parade Orpington Recovery Team is able to come along to the meeting to support any client wishing to attend.

The main aim of the Positive Mental Attitude Football League is to improve the lives of those suffering from mental illness through the use of football.
The aim is to use football as a tool to overcome the stigma and exclusion that exists for those suffering mental illness, through engaging in meaningful activity and with a positive mental attitude.
Additionally, they aim to bridge the gap between hospital and community living, empowering individuals to acquire effective life skills and to regain control of their future.
In less than two years, the PMA London League has achieved 12 registered teams from six London NHS Mental Health Trusts.
