Bromley Volunteer Centre: Supported Volunteering
Logo

IconJane Kay, is the Supported Volunteering Worker, at the Volunteer Centre , and her role is to provide a more individual and tailored service to those prospective volunteers who may have additional support needs through disability or mental ill health.

They will be offered a one to one interview and the time to discuss their interests and the type of environment that would suit them.  Through using both a national database and local resources, together they can explore a range of volunteering options.

An important area of the work is bridge building with local community based organisations, identifying good contacts who will work with us to develop positive working relationships between the volunteer and the opportunity provider.
